Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls have a strained relationship, as reported by ESPN’s Jamal Collier.
The tension began when LaVine expressed interest in a trade and opted for season-ending surgery in February, angering team management.
LaVine has also clashed with head coach Billy Donovan and feels unfairly singled out for the team’s shortcomings.
According to a Bulls source, LaVine’s approach has hindered his success: “He’s never won, he’s done it his way the whole way and never won.”
Despite the conflicts, LaVine remains with the Bulls after signing a lucrative contract in 2022.
He is under contract until at least the 2026-27 season.
