June 2025 Tickets Update: The official ticket supplier is now sold out of all Sunday and 3-day grandstand and Grounds Pass tickets for the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix. A limited number of tickets are still available in our Canadian Grand Prix Ticket Shop, including Sunday and 3-day Grounds Passes, 3-day Platine Grandstand and 3-day Terrace hospitality. F1 Experiences Ticket Packages are now sold out.

Offering close proximity to the lively city of Montreal, affordable tickets and the prospect of exciting racing, the Canadian Grand Prix remains popular for a reason. On the downside, the weather at recent editions of the race has been poor, with lots of rain and cooler temperatures. There were also complaints in 2024 about race organization and security, especially for fans entering and leaving the circuit. Canada remains one of the more affordable races to attend on the entire F1 calendar, especially for those traveling from the USA. Recent weakness in the Canadian dollar (CAD) has made it even more affordable for international fans. With a large percentage of fans (both local and international) returning every year for the race, demand for tickets remains high, and we recommend securing your access as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Where to Buy Canadian Grand Prix Tickets?

We recommend buying your tickets for the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix from our trusted supplier, Grand Prix Tickets. GPT is an official sales agent for the race and tickets come direct from the promoter. When purchasing more than one ticket in the same transaction, you will be sat together.

We also recommend F1 Experiences Ticket Packages. Choose from grandstand seats or premium all-inclusive hospitality in the Champions Club and Formula 1 Paddock Club, plus exclusive trackside activities and accommodation/transfers.

2025 Canadian GP Tickets: Need to Know

Seats are reserved on all 3 days at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Children aged 11 and under can access general admission areas free of charge, but each child must daily wristband at the local box office or at the entrance (one child per adult maximum). Children aged 11 and under are entitled to a 25% discount on tickets for the Family Grandstand (limit of one child per adult). No other discounts for children are available on grandstand or terrace tickets.

All grandstands have access to large viewing screens.

The Platine Grandstand is the only covered grandstand at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Track Hospitality Suites & F1 Experiences Packages

Circuit Hospitality: A range of affordable hospitality tickets are available in Canada with good trackside views and hospitality, some of which including assigned grandstand seats. The best hospitality can be found in the Elite Club on the outside of the track between the start line and the opening corners. From the cheaper hospitality options available, Terrace CGV is recommended for excellent views of the Senna Curve.

F1 Experiences Packages: Formula 1’s official travel and experience partner offers both grandstand and hospitality packages for the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix. F1 Experiences Live packages include grandstand seating and entry to a special event on the track with pit lane walk and guided track tour. A range of all-inclusive hospitality options are also available, including the Champions Club Rouge and Blanc suites, both of which are really close to the track. The pick of these is the larger, two-level Blanc suite with exceptional views of the track from the final corner (see first image below). Exclusive Paddock Club hospitality located above the pits is also available. Included with the Paddock Club is high-end cuisine and open bars, along with daily pit lane walks.

Grandstand 1 (Main Grandstand)

Grandstand 1 is located on the main start/finish straight, opposite the pits. These seats are good for first timers and anyone who wants to watch the action in the pits, plus the race build up and podium celebrations. If you are after on-track action, choose seats in the opening Senna Chicane instead.

Grandstand 11

The two grandstands on the outside of the Senna curve (grandstands 11, 12) offer some of the best viewing opportunities at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. There is always lots of action at this corner, particularly at the start of the race. If you get a good seat, you will be able to see the cars from the start finish line up until they disappear around turn 3. We recommend choosing a seat as close to the other grandstand as possible. This means low section numbers for Stand 11 and high section numbers for Stand 12. This gives you the best view of the main straight while also providing a very good view down to Turn 3. Note that the high section numbers in Grandstand 11 can have their views obstructed by the trees inside the Senna curve, so it’s better to choose a low section number in this stand.

Grandstand 12

The low section numbers in Grandstand 12 can have views obstructed by the hospitality suites – if you choose a low section in Grandstand 12, get a high row seat so you will see all the action.

Platine Grandstand

We also recommend seats in the Platine Grandstand on the inside of the opening corners. Platine is the only covered grandstand at the circuit and always sells out quickly despite being the highest priced grandstand in Canada.

Grandstand 15

The grandstands on the hairpin are a good choice and the ‘stadium atmosphere’ is awesome. Given the choice, we’d buy a seat in Grandstand 15, which gives the best front-on views of this important corner. For easy access to and from the circuit each day, the hairpin grandstands are the closest to the metro station.

Grandstand 15 faces the hairpin so all the action is in front of you and it is possible to see a long way down the entry and exit straights. It is however separated from the track by a gravel trap, so you are a bit further away from the action and noise.

Grandstand 21

Closest to the metro station, Grandstand 21 is situated on the entry to the chicane. Views from the lower rows, which are very close to the track, are limited by the new catch fencing. Higher rows in this stand have unobstructed views but are further from the track.

Lance Stroll Grandstand

Lance Stroll Grandstand (previously known as Grandstand 24) is very close to the track and offers great views as the cars accelerate out of the chicane. Food stalls and proper toilets are located right behind this grandstand.

Grandstand 34

Located in the middle of the hairpin, Grandstand 34 is an affordable stand with good views. Get in quick as this grandstand always sells out quickly.

Family Grandstand

The Family Grandstand (previously Grandstand 33) is located on the outside of Turn 6. We recommend seats in the lower section numbers, which give you a better view of the approach than higher section numbers.

Grandstand 31

Grandstand 31 on Turn 9 is set back a long way from the circuit proper , and you don’t get to see the cars for as long as at the Senna Chicane or the hairpin, but it is still decent value. Worth considering. F1® Experiences Live | Grandstand 31 Ticket packages include a 3-day reserved seat in Grandstand 31 plus insider activities on Thursday.

Grandstand 46

Grandstand 46 (previously know as the Popular grandstand) is one of the worst positioned grandstands at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, but also one of the cheapest. Single-day tickets are also available, unlike in most other grandstands. Views of the hairpin are obstructed by trees. For those who know the track, there is a small left kink after the hairpin. If there has been a lot of rain, there can be standing water in this area and it tends to catch out a lot of drivers, particularly in the support categories – the Popular Grandstand provides the best views of the action which can ensue. Grandstand 46 now has a large TV screen opposite.

General Admission (Ground Pass) at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Ground Pass (or General Admission) tickets for the Canadian Grand Prix are cheap, but don’t offer the best viewing opportunities. The circuit is known for its long straights and slow corners, and grandstands take up the best viewing spots. This means that Ground Pass ticket holders either need to find a spot “packed like sardines” between the grandstands or watch the cars scream past on the straights.

There is more room to move in the Ground Pass areas on Friday, before bigger crowds turn up on the weekend for qualifying and the race. There are decent vantage points close to some grandstands, but you need to get there early to secure your spot. Either side of grandstand 24 is raised and fills up quickly. There is also space between and in front of Grandstands 11 & 12. The straight behind grandstand 31 provides shaded viewing, but doesn’t offer big screen viewing.
