One of the best new weapons added is the Mythic Pump and Dump Shotgun. A unique gun which combines a pump with an SMG, and in Mythic form. It might be one of the best guns in the game right now, but do you get it?
As with any Fortnite Mythic weapon, it isn’t as easy as just opening up a chest and expecting it to pop out. While this is a new weapon added in the most recent Fortnite update, there hasn’t been an additional Heist sight added. So where exactly has the Mythic been slotted in? It’s dislodged one of the existing Mythics, but once you find it, it’s simple enough to get the Mythic Pump and Dump Shotgun in every game.
Where is the Mythic Pump and Dump Shotgun?
As the newest Mythic added to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, all eyes are on the Pump and Dump Shotgun! How can you get it though? It’s currently located in the Night Market.

The Mythic Pump and Dump Shotgun in Fortnite has actually repalced the mythic Sentinel Pump at the Night Market. You can find it at the Market located in the mountain in the center of the new POI. In the exact spot of the old Sentinel Pump. You don’t need to go through the Outlaw Keycard quests to unlock it, it’s in the normal chamber to claim.
You will have to get Dill Bits before you can claim it though. The Pump and Dump costs one Dill Bit, so you’ll have to take out a vault, train, or a player to pick it up.
How to Get Mythic Pump and Dump Shotgun
That’s where it is but how can you ensure you’re going to get the Fortnite Mythic Pump and Dump shotgun? There are two routes.
The first is to do it the honest way. Land. Take out a vault. Get your Dill Bit. Trade it for the Shotgun. For this, there’s three vaults which are close enough to get here in time. The Crime City Vault is the nearest. However, if you use the launchpads at Lonewolf Lair that’s do-able too. The train begins its route near these locations too, so heisting the train around the Vault might be a good way to do it too. Any of these locations will reward you with a Dill Bit, which you can use to get the Mythic Pump and Dump.

Although, once you reach the night Market there’s something to watch out for, the other method of getting the gun.
If you don’t fancy doing a vault, then you can take a sneaky way instead. A lot of players have been doing it the annoying way. Essentially, getting a shotgun or sniper, then sitting and waiting. Either in the night market, or by the vault. Ready to one-shot headshot a player who has just done the hard work, take their loot, and get the gun. It’s not the most honorable route. But what does honor matter in a season where players are largely using bats to knock each other off mountains and win Fortnite games instead of fighting.

That’s how to get the Pump and Dump Shotgun in Fortnite, is it worth building your game plan around though? The Sentinel Pump will still be a favorite of a lot of players. However, the Pump and Dump is definitely worth carrying too. It’s a route that’s worth the time considering the guns stats.
