The Connecticut Sun were able to rebound from their 100-52 loss to the New York Liberty June 1 en route to beating the Atlanta Dream 84-76 June 6.
The Sun’s win June 6 was their first home win of the season. Connecticut’s Marina Mabrey was the leading scorer in that game, with 34 points. UConn alum Tina Charles scored 19 points in the Sun’s win over Atlanta June 6. With that win, the Sun improved their record to 2-6 on the season.

Connecticut will take on the Washington Mystics in their next game June 8. The Sun played their first game of the regular season against the Mystics May 18. Washington won that matchup 90-85.
