A long day of WNBA action on Sunday, Aug. 10 concludes at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas where the Connecticut Sun are visiting the Las Vegas Aces.

The Aces are on their second three-game winning streak since July 10, when the squad fell to 9-11. They have been 8-3 since then, including wins over playoff contenders the Golden State Valkyries, Los Angeles Sparks, Atlanta Dream and most recently, the Seattle Storm, to get them to 17-14. Friday’s 90-86 win against the Storm saw A’ja Wilson post a game-high 29 points while equaling the game-high with 12 rebounds, a mark teammate NaLyssa Smith also reached, to go along with 10 points. Jewell Loyd continued to provide a scoring punch from the bench with 10, while Jackie Young had 26 points, five boards and five helpers.
The Sun have lost three straight and are on the third stop of a four-game road trip. This game is also the first of a back-to-back that concludes on Monday, Aug. 11 in the Chase Center in San Francisco where the Golden State Valkyries will be welcoming Connecticut. In three previous meetings with Las Vegas this season the Sun have lost by 25, 26 and 18.
