The WNBA seems to be churning out more superstars than ever before, thanks to talent like Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, Sabrina Ionescu, Brittney Griner, and others. As this generation of athletes takes the WNBA to new heights, now is the time to lock in and enjoy all that the league has to offer. That’s right, it’s time to learn how to watch WBNA games this year.

UNCASVILLE, CONNECTICUT – SEPTEMBER 25: Caitlin Clark #22 of the Indiana Fever drives on Veronica Burton #22 of the Connecticut Sun during the fourth quarter of Game Two of the 2024 WNBA Playoffs first round at Mohegan Sun Arena on September 25, 2024 in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Connecticut Sun won 87-81 over the Indiana Fever.

Clark might be the most talked-about women’s basketball player in years, if not all-time. She electrified the college basketball world before capturing the 2024 Rookie of the Year Award in the WNBA. In her historic debut season, she averaged 19 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds per game. She also set records for the most assists in a single game (19) and the most assists in a season (337). In other words, Clark is playing like John Stockton 2.0, and bringing lots of attention to the WNBA as a result.

But Clark isn’t the only reason to tune in. The New York Liberty assembled a star-loaded squad that includes Stewart and Ionescu. But they face fierce competition from the Las Vegas Aces, led by Wilson, Plum, and Head Coach Becky Hammon, who spent seven years as an assistant coach with the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs (she was the second female coach in NBA history). The Aces won the WNBA Finals in both 2022 and 2023, and they show no signs of slowing down.

To keep tabs on all the upcoming WNBA action, you’ll need access to League Pass, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. Thankfully, it’s not too difficult to make that happen. Here’s all you need to know to watch WNBA games all season (and postseason) long.

How to Watch WNBA Games on Fubo

A Fubo subscription will get you access to national WNBA broadcasts that air on channels like ESPN and ABC. Currently, you can save some money by signing up for a Pro plan for $60/month (usually it’s $80/month). That will get you more than 150 channels, plus unlimited cloud DVR in case you want to record some WNBA games and watch them at your convenience.

How to Watch WNBA Games on Hulu + Live TV

With Hulu + Live TV, you’ll be able to watch WNBA games on ESPN and ABC. You can also get access to ESPN+ for lots of additional sports content and Disney+ for Star Wars, Marvel, and other entertainment content. After a free three-day trial, a subscription will cost you $77/month.

How to Watch WNBA Games on DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM is another great option for watching WNBA games on ESPN and ABC. DIRECTV STREAM costs can vary depending on regional sports fees, but prices run somewhere in the ballpark of $95/month for the Entertainment + Sports Pack (but is currently $15 off for the first two months), around $109/month for the Choice + Sports Pack (but is $20 off for the first three months), and around $120/month for the Ultimate + Sports Pack (but currently $20 off for the first three months). All packages will get you access to nationally broadcast WNBA games on ABC and ESPN.

How to Watch WNBA Games on Sling TV

Sling TV has three different subscription plans that will get you access to WNBA games and lots of other live sports content. The Orange Plan at $40/month (with $25 off your first month) has ESPN in its channel lineup. The Blue Plan is $45/month (currently also $25 off the first month) and does not have ESPN, but it does have sports channels like NFL Network and FS1. The Orange + Blue Plan at $60/month (also, surprise, with $25 off your first month) gets you all of the channels from both plans. Sling TV is another service with regional prices, so the offers you have access to may differ slightly.

How to Watch WNBA Games on WNBA League Pass

To keep it straightforward, the WNBA League Pass absolutely rocks and might just be the single best option for fans looking to have access to games throughout the preseason, regular season, and postseason. That said, there are a couple things to keep in mind.

First, you won’t be able to watch nationally broadcast games on networks like ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. Second, you may also be restricted from watching in-market games, which means some of your local team’s games could be off limits. Thankfully, the WNBA League Pass website has a helpful feature where you can enter your zip code to see which games are restricted in your area. But despite those limitations, League Pass is definitely worth a subscription for WNBA fans.

An annual pass costs only $35/year, or you can pay monthly at $13/month. For that price, you can watch both live out-of-market games and every game on demand. Plus, you’ll have access to an archive that contains hundreds of classic games so you can brush up on WNBA history.

How to Watch NBA Games from anywhere with a VPN

If you’re a WNBA fan outside the U.S., fear not. You can still watch as many games as your heart desires. But in order to access streaming services like WNBA League Pass, you’ll need to sign up for VPN services like ExpressVPN or Private Internet Access. These VPNs hide your location, allowing you to access U.S. streaming platforms so that you can have every WNBA game at your fingertips. Private Internet Access starts at $2/month, while ExpressVPN plans start at $12.95/month.
