The Caitlin Clark Effect is carrying over into her second season with the Indiana Fever.
At least five Fever away games in 2025 have been moved to larger arenas, continuing a trend from 2024, when several teams moved games from smaller venues to take advantage of the Fever rookie’s presence. Fever games leaguewide averaged more than 16,000 fans.
Fever home games are at 18,000-seat Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, and many games saw sellout crowds.
Indiana has made several offseason moves in hopes of improving on its 20-20 record and first WNBA playoff appearance since 2016. Stephanie White has replaced Christie Sides as coach, and incoming players include Natasha Howard, DeWanna Bonner, Sophie Cunningham and Brianna Turner. Along with Clark, returning players include All-Stars Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, and Lexie Hull.
This year’s schedule is 44 games, up from 40. The WNBA has expanded to 13 teams with the addition of the Golden State Valkyries.

May 22: at Atlanta Dream, moved from Gateway Center Arena (3,500 capacity) to State Farm Arena (19,050).
May 28 and Sept. 7: at Washington Mystics, moved from CareFirst Arena (4,200) to CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore (13,300).
June 7 and July 27: at Chicago Sky, from Wintrust Arena (10,387) to United Center (20,000).
