Caitlin Clark has left a major hole in the Indiana Fever this season.
Clark has missed a majority of the WNBA season, and the Fever have been forced to rely on several other stars.
Head coach Stephanie White has led the Fever to a WNBA playoff berth along with the standout play and leadership of Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. Sophie Cunningham also played a major role for Indiana before suffering a season-ending injury.

At the conclusion of the WNBA season, it was reported that Mitchell would receive a $20,000 time-off bonus from the Fever this offseason.
Mitchell is joined by several other stars in the WNBA, who will also receive a similar honor, including Alysha Clark, Emily Engstler and Sug Sutton.
A time-off bonus is given by teams across the WNBA to help incentivize players in refraining from playing overseas or in various other leagues in the offseason. Many teams are attempting to keep players focused on their organization and avoid injuries to their star players.

Mitchell made her third straight All-Star appearance this season. She set the franchise record for points per game in a single season at 20.2.

More of the scoring load fell on Mitchell with Clark out of the lineup. In 13 games this season, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.
