Caitlin Clark was forced to watch on as the Indiana Fever nearly pulled off a trip to the 2025 WNBA Finals without her. After taking down the Atlanta Dream in three games in the first round, the Fever forced WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces into overtime of Game 5, but with a late injury to Kelsey Mitchell, saw their season come to an end.
Clark was forced to miss most of the regular season and the playoffs because of a season-ending groin injury. But in the 13 games she was able to play, she continued to shine, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game. She was even named an All-Star captain, joining Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.
