Tempe, AZ – Signaling the start of the 2025 ITA Summer Series powered by WTN, the first weekend of competition officially got underway on campuses across the country this weekend with the first players earning their spots into the ITA National Summer Championships powered by WTN.

Awarding five thousand dollars in guaranteed prize money to players, week one saw over 400 players compete across six host sites. From this, four men and four women earned their spots into the prestigious ITA National Summer Championships which are set to be held at the Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis, Tennessee at the conclusion of the Summer Series.

Of these automatic qualifiers, several represent Power Four programs with Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame, Colorado, and Wisconsin all having representation in the semifinals of the ITA Summer Masters Series event at Wisconsin. Division III powerhouse Gustavus Adolphus as well as Ivy League program Brown each had players reach the semifinals and qualify as well in Wisconsin.

In the Summer Points Race Series, several high-level collegians and juniors shined during week one. Currently, Justas Trainauskas (Pacific), Benjamin Sparks (Liberty), Quinn Monson (Gustavus Adolphus), and Bryce Ware (Kansas Wesleyan) lead the men’s points race standings. Meanwhile, for the women, Zoe Lulu Wu (Middlebury), Reese Frank, Rashi Singh, and Emerey Gross were each crowned champions to lead the standings on the women’s side.
