At the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on November 14, Jake Paul vs Tank Davis will headline a Most Valuable Promotions card live on Netflix in a 10-round exhibition bout.

The announcement of the main event has attracted criticism, but the two-city press tour revealed the rules for the exhibition clash as well as the undercard with four world title fights included.

Nov. 14 undercard revealed for Jake Paul vs Tank Davis

The main event has been a huge talking point in the boxing world, with a huge 65 pounds separating them in the weights.

The rules were revealed at a recent New York press conference. Both fighters will wear 12-ounce gloves, with the weight limit for both being 195 pounds. It was also confirmed by MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian that three ringside judges will score the contest.

Alycia Baumgardner vs Leila Beaudoin

Alycia Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) will defend her WBO/IBF/WBA women’s super featherweight titles against Leila Beaudoin (13-1, 2 KOs) in a 12-round fight.

Baumgardner has chosen to vacate her WBC title and her undisputed status to ensure the fight on November 14 will be over 12, three-minute rounds.

Beaudoin will look to cause a huge upset, but is coming into this fight following her biggest career win against Elhem Mekhaled.

“The Bomb” made her MVP debut last time out, defeating a tough Jennifer Miranda by unanimous decision (98-92 x2 & 97-93.

Gary Antuanne Russell vs Andy Hiraoka

Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) and Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 KOs) will battle it out for Russell’s WBA super lightweight title in an intriguing fight.

Russell was last seen dominating Jose Valenzuela to win the WBA crown by unanimous decision with judges’ scorecards of 120-108 and 119-109 x2.

This win occurred nine months after Russell suffered a split decision defeat against Alberto Puello.

Hiraoka has been out of the ring for a year since his impressive stoppage win over Ismael Barroso. The Japanese fighter is extremely dangerous, but Russell is slick and carries plenty of power. This could be fight of the night.

Ellie Scotney vs Mayelli Flores

Ellie Scotney (11-0, 0 KOs) returns to action, defending her WBC, IBF, and WBO super bantamweight titles against the WBA champion Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs).

Scotney made her MVP debut in her last fight, outboxing Yamileth Mercado (98-92 x2 and 100-90) to add the WBC crown to her ever-growing collection.

Flores has won five fights in a row since suffering her only professional defeat against Yuliahn Luna Avila.

Yokasta Valle vs Yadira Bustillos

Also appearing on the Jake Paul vs Tank Davis undercard will be Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs) vs Yadira Bustillos (11-1, 2 KOs) for Valle’s WBC women’s strawweight title.

Valle brings plenty of experience, having operated at a high level. Her last defeat came against the brilliant Seniesa Estrada. Since that loss, she has won three in a row, including last time out against Marlen Esparza.

Bustillos has won four consecutive fights since suffering her only career defeat against Sarah Bormann. Valle will be a big favourite to retain her WBC crown.

Avious Griffin vs Cesar Francis

On the Jake Paul vs Tank Davis undercard, we will see the big-punching Avious Griffin (17-1, 16 KOs) face the dangerous Cesar Francis (14-2, 9 KOs) in a welterweight bout.

Griffin also made his MVP debut in his last fight on the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 undercard, suffering a dramatic last-round KO defeat against Julian Rodriguez.

It’s a big risk for Griffin to face another dangerous puncher, but it also shows the belief MVP holds for the 31-year-old Tennessee fighter. Francis has shown plenty of power during his professional career, and Griffin will need to be switched on.
