The Denver Nuggets secured a victory against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night, despite the absence of star point guard Jamal Murray. NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook, with seven assists and five steals, started in Murray’s place and contributed to the win.
Murray is currently in the NBA’s concussion protocol after a collision in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Coach Michael Malone mentioned the usual recovery time for a player in concussion protocol is 5 to 7 days, but Murray’s return date is uncertain.
The injury report for the Nuggets’ upcoming game against the Toronto Raptors confirms that Murray will not be playing. This means Westbrook will be starting for Denver again.

The Nuggets have had a mixed start to the NBA season, currently standing at 3-3 in their first six games. The Raptors, missing Scottie Barnes, have a record of 2-5. With the game being played at home, the Nuggets are favored to win.
While the entire NBA is on hold for the election, the Nuggets will play on Wednesday against the undefeated Oklahoma City Thunder. Oklahoma City, with a perfect 6-0 record, will face the Orlando Magic before their matchup with Denver.
