The Utah Jazz and experienced guard Patty Mills have reached a deal for a one-year, $3.3 million contract. This contract, which is at the veteran minimum level for Mills, will be fully guaranteed. Reports indicate that Mills will be reuniting with Will Hardy, a coach he previously worked with during their time at the San Antonio Spurs under Gregg Popovich.
Last season, Mills played for both the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat. During his time with Miami, he averaged 5.6 points in 16.4 minutes per game over 13 games.
Notably, Mills demonstrated his skill once again while representing the Australian national team this summer. At the 2024 Olympics, he averaged 16.5 points and made 41% of his 5.5 three-point attempts per game in four games played.
