The Dallas Cowboys offseason remains tumultuous, largely due to Jerry Jones’ inability to stay quiet. After speaking to reporters following training camp, the Cowboys owner mentioned he didn’t feel rushed to finalize a deal with CeeDee Lamb.
Despite Lamb’s holdout during training camp, he saw Jones’ remarks and responded subtly to acknowledge he was aware of them.
In addition to Lamb, Micah Parsons is also seeking a new contract and retweeted Lamb’s response to Jones’ stance. Furthermore, the Cowboys are mishandling Dak Prescott’s contract negotiations.
Jones’ lack of urgency is causing headaches for the organization and resulting in potential financial losses as the standard for player contracts rises across the league due to other teams addressing contracts promptly.
How about those Cowboys, right?
