New York continues to beat itself, sustaining numerous self-inflicted wounds against Miami that were its ultimate undoing. The Jets turned the ball over three times, committed 13 penalties for 101 yards and went 0-for-2 in the red zone. Returner Isaiah Williams, who lost a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half, also called for a fair catch on a punt at the Jets 2-yard line, pinning New York deep on its own end.
ESPN’s “Get Up” and “Sunday NFL Countdown” host Mike Greenberg, also a self-proclaimed Jets fan, ripped into Glenn on social media, saying the first year head coach has “a crisis on his hands four games in.
“Team is sloppy, undisciplined, poorly prepared,” Greenberg scathingly critiqued.
