Paul George and Joel Embiid will be absent from the Philadelphia 76ers’ game on Saturday night against the Grizzlies.
Neither player has made an appearance for the Sixers so far this season.
George, sidelined with a knee bone bruise, took part in Friday’s practice and scrimmage.
Embiid also joined in the full practice and scrimmage activities. Sources note that this was the first time this season that the center completed a 5-on-5 scrimmage with his teammates.
The Grizzles will also be missing Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart in the upcoming game, as both players are week-to-week.
