Due to a left knee injury, Joel Embiid and Paul George have been ruled out by the Philadelphia 76ers for their upcoming game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, the second night of a back-to-back.
On Tuesday, the Sixers suffered a loss to the New York Knicks with a final score of 111-99. In his first game of the season, Embiid contributed 13 points, three rebounds, and five assists in 26 minutes. George, on the other hand, had an impressive performance with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.
With a record of 2-8, the Sixers will face the undefeated Cavaliers in Wednesday’s game.
