UFC Fight Night 253 takes place Saturday, and you can join us for live round-by-round coverage and official results beginning at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT). UFC Fight Night 253 (ESPN+) takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Flyweights Manel Kape (20-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Asu Almabayev (21-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) headline the show. In the co-feature, Cody Brundage (10-6 MMA, 4-5 UFC) takes on Julian Marquez (9-5 MMA, 3-4 UFC) at middleweight.

Man, Temirov is throwing heat! Temirov is pressing the action. Temirov catches a kick and connects a right on Johnson. Front kick to the face by Johnson. We’re halfway through the round. Right hand connects for Temirov. So far Temirov with the biggest shots of the fight. Johnson having a tough time connecting on Temirov. Johnson pressing the action here. Nice connection by Johnson to finish off the round! The bell rings.

Round 2 – Johnson marching forward here. He closes the distance and presses Temirov against the cage. Unable to get a takedown, they break and go back to striking. Johnson with better defense in this round. Temirov throwing a little less in this round. Temirov with a body shot. Johnson chasing here, but not throwing much. Nice counter right by Temirov. And Johnson with a counter of his own! Johnson presses Temirov against the cage and begins working the takedown. Nice elbow by Johnson on the break! The bell rings.
