It appears evident that the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball program fosters a unique bond among its players.
This was highlighted by the abundance of content generated by former Hawkeyes stars Kate Martin, Caitlin Clark, and Gabbie Marshall during their recent reunion at the university.
These Iowa legends first observed (and in Clark’s case, participated in) a Hawkeyes practice, as the team, now led by Coach Jan Jensen, prepared for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Both Martin and Marshall couldn’t resist watching their old team in action and were seen courtside during the Hawkeyes’ game against Virginia Tech in North Carolina.
The Hawkeyes have reason to celebrate as they maintain a 16-point lead over Virginia Tech going into the fourth quarter.
Martin’s excitement for the game was palpable mere minutes after it began.
User @ouatdemii shared a video capturing Martin’s joy as she cheered on their former teammate Sydney Affolter during the game.

Meanwhile, teammate Caitlin Clark opted to attend the Indiana Pacers NBA game on Sunday, but she is expected to join Martin and Marshall for an Iowa game later in the season.
