With Caitlin Clark struggling to find her shot for a third-straight game, Kelsey Mitchell helped the Indiana Fever snap their losing streak.

On Tuesday, Mitchell and the Fever defeated Skylar Diggins and the Seattle Storm 94-86, jumping to 7-7 on the 2025 WNBA season.
Mitchell finished the night with 26 points on 8-of-14 shooting and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. She also added four rebounds and four assists. Clark tallied only six points and didn’t hit a 3-pointer for the second time this year.
Entering the game, Mitchell had recorded 13 games with at least 25 points and five made 3-pointers, tying Becky Hammon, Kristi Tolliver and Maya Moore for the fifth-most such games.

With her latest performance, Mitchell now passes Hammon, Tolliver and Moore for sole possession of the fifth-most games with at least 25 points and five made 3-pointers, reaching those marks 14 times.

She now trails Las Vegas Aces guard Jewell Loyd, who ranks fourth on the WNBA’s all-time list with 16 such games. However, Mitchell has a long way to go to catch Phoenix Mercury legend Diana Taurasi, who holds the record with 59.
With Clark struggling during the Fever’s three-game West Coast road trip, Mitchell stepped up her game. She delivered by averaging 20.7 points on 57.7% shooting, along with 2.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Clark, meanwhile, has totaled 36 points over the last three games – an average of 12 per contest – well below her season average.
The Fever will now be heading back home as they get set for their next opponent, the Los Angeles Sparks, on Thursday.
