The third match remained unfinished, however, Zoe Hammond and Ellie Meyers were leading 5-3 at the time of the clinch for Arkansas. Asuncion Jadue and Julia Zhu were defeated 6-4 on court one and Ellie Eades and Lizzy Stevens were also defeated, 6-1.

The first singles match to finish on Sunday was freshman, Asuncion Jadue, who dominated her opponent, taking a straight-sets decision, 6-3, 6-3. The second Cat to take a singles point was fifth-year senior, Lizzy Stevens, managing a 6-2, 0-6, 6-1 win on the second court. Junior and 101st-ranked Zoe Hammond fought until the end to defeat #55 Carolina Gomez of Arkansas, totaling Hammond’s overall record to an impressive 8-4.
