After winning the 2024 League of Legends World Championship, support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok has officially re-signed with T1.
Keria re-signs will continue to play for T1 for two more years
The announcement came directly from T1, who confirmed he has signed on a two-year contract until 2026. Keria is the first player, outside of Faker (who was already signed to 2025), to lock his spot on the team for the upcoming season.
The announcement comes before Keria leaves for a 3-week basic training in the military. He will then join T1 for the upcoming Red Bull League of Its Own, a show match featuring some of the most popular teams in League of Legends.
Keria has been a key member of T1’s victories in the past three years
Joining at the end of 2020 following two years on DRX, Keria immediately made a name for himself on T1. Throughout the past four years, Keria achieved 2 World Championships, one LCK title, a gold medal at the Asian Games, and winning the inaugural edition of the Esports World Cup. He was named Player of Split during Spring 2023 and won 2 LCK MVP titles.
Keria is known for his vast champion pool and playmaking potential, utilizing his pocket picks to make plays on the map. At the 2024 World Championship, Keria was the only player to choose Pyke, winning on both occasions.
“I have re-signed with T1 for a multi-year contract,” he said in a video to the fans. “I’m so pleased to continue with T1 for two years. As I won Worlds twice at T1, I know that there are more goals that I can achieve at T1. I think that T1 would be the best team to help me achieve my goals. So I will show better performance for another two years with the support of my fans. Thank you for supporting me.”
