Keyontae Johnson and the Charlotte Hornets have reached an agreement on a contract, as announced by Johnson’s agency Priority Sports. The specifics of the contract with the Hornets are currently unknown.
During his rookie season, Johnson was on a two-way contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. While he only played in nine NBA games, he started in all 38 games with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League.
Last season, Johnson averaged 19.7 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Blue. The 6-foot-6 wing had shooting percentages of 53% overall and 40% from three-point range.
