The newest addition of blockbuster fighters linked to compete at the UFC White House event is Khamzat Chimaev.
If the UFC White House show fulfills its promise of being the greatest fight card in mixed martial arts history, spectators are in for a treat. Many names have been linked with an appearance in the country’s capital, with more star power rumors being leaked each month as the historic date edges closer.
Alongside Jon Jones and Conor McGregor, who have constantly found themselves in speculative headlines since the announcement of the event, there are other fighters to get excited about.Â
Posting a teasing message on social media, Khamzat Chimaev all but revealed his interest in fighting at the White House when the event rolls around next year.
After becoming a UFC champion at the first time of asking when he captured middleweight gold in August, Chimaev is ready for his first defense.Â

While the hint seems clear about Khamzat Chimaev’s intentions, this isn’t the first time ‘Borz’ has referenced fighting at the White House.
After being given eligibility to compete in the United States once again, Chimaev thanked Donald Trump for allowing it to happen. Though grateful, the 31-year-old revealed his belief that, despite Trump’s act of kindness toward him, the generosity wouldn’t extend far enough for inclusion on the UFC White House card.

Who could Khamzat Chimaev fight on the UFC White House event?
Since snatching the middleweight throne last month, the noise surrounding Khamzat Chimaev’s next fight has been silent.
If Dricus Du Plessis isn’t granted an immediate rematch, the only other standout contender in the division is Nassourdine Imavov.
But, with an estimated nine months to go until the monumental fight night arrives, names like Sean Strickland, Reinier De Ridder, and Anthony Hernandez, among others, could force their way into a title opportunity.
