Former Chicago Sky guard Kysre Gondrezick left a bold reaction on Alisah Chanel’s New Year post. Chanel had a remarkable 2024, culminating in the announcement of her second pregnancy with husband and Dallas Mavericks star P.J. Washington.
In an Instagram post just before midnight, Chanel shared a brief message for her followers as they prepared to celebrate the New Year. She expressed gratitude for the past year and excitement for what 2025 has in store.
“What an incredible year this has been! Excited to see what’s in store for 2025,” Chanel wrote.
Various social media personalities, including Kysre Gondrezick, commented on Alisah Chanel’s post. The free agent has been engaging with Chanel throughout the year, with one notable exchange in September when Gondrezick praised Chanel’s attire in New York City.
Gondrezick couldn’t resist dropping a bold comment on Chanel’s New Year message.
“F*cking glowing,” Gondrezick wrote.
Alisah Chanel and P.J. Washington recently announced that they are expecting their second child together. The couple welcomed their son Preston in December 2022 and had a lavish wedding in October 2023.
Washington also has a son with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Renner named Paul. Chanel often shares posts featuring both Paul and Preston on her social media.
On the other hand, Kysre Gondrezick is in a relationship with Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown. They have been seen together at various events, such as the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles.
However, recent indications suggest that Gondrezick and Brown may have parted ways, as their vacation posts from Brazil have been removed from her Instagram profile. She also hinted at enjoying being single.
What’s next for Kysre Gondrezick?
Kysre Gondrezick was drafted fourth overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever but was later waived. She spent the next two seasons as a free agent before briefly playing for the Chicago Sky last season.
Currently, Gondrezick is exploring other ventures in acting and modeling. She mentioned uncertainty about her future in the WNBA but appears prepared for new opportunities.
“I am all over the place right now,” Gondrezick said. “I’m in acting classes, acting training. I’m getting ready to shoot some film work for 2025. It’s been a heck of a year.
“It is funny, someone said, ‘You have trended more since you’ve been cut and since you were in the league and you were trending so much in the league.’ I’m just living in the beauty of my purpose.”
Gondrezick had previously expressed interest in playing for Unrivaled, but she was not included in the league’s 36-player roster.
