LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – It is a new dawn for the dynasty that is the Las Vegas Aces.
The team is reshaping its identity by adding stars Jewell Loyd and Liz Kitley who were introduced at the team’s headquarters on Tuesday.

“I’m super thrilled. This is such a blessing and honor to be with the Aces. I didn’t think it would actually happen and it did,” Loyd expressed. “It’s not on my timing it’s on the man upstairs timing. I feel like you want me to feel at home, I walk right through the door. This smile hasn’t left my face since. There’s a different feel in this building and it starts with the people.”
Loyd is an elite scorer who averaged 19.7 PPG last season, one of the most in the league. She also has won two WNBA titles and is used to a winning culture. One that the Aces team felt they had to shift just a tad after losing to the New York Liberty in the playoffs last season – ending their back-to-back championship run.
“We had a great run there, but we fell short last year. We didn’t get what we wanted. I feel like as much as I love every one of those players that decided to go elsewhere. I feel really good about the group that we have,” Becky Hammon Aces head coach said.
