LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Aces have lost another key bench piece.
Free agent forward Alysha Clark will sign with the Seattle Storm, her agent told ESPN on Thursday.
The WNBA veteran played the last two years with the Aces and was Sixth Player of the Year in 2023 when she helped the team win its second consecutive championship.
In 2024, she appeared in all 40 regular season games, starting 18 of them because of a rash of injuries on the Aces roster. She averaged 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Clark, who played her first nine WNBA seasons in Seattle, winning two championships with the Storm.
Las Vegas has now seen all three major unrestricted free agents leave for other teams. Sydney Colson signed with Indiana earlier this week, while Tiffany Hayes joined Golden State.
The Aces are down to eight players on the active roster. Cheyenne Parker-Tyus and Queen Egbo have signed training camp contracts, and the team added the 13th overall draft pick in the Kelsey Plum-Jewell Loyd trade.
