The Aces will begin the upcoming season reflecting on the conclusion of the last campaign.
The WNBA unveiled its 2025 schedule on Monday, with the Aces set to face off against the defending champion Liberty in a semifinals rematch on May 17 in New York.
This challenging opening game symbolizes a shift in the league’s landscape.
Following this matchup, the team will play another road game against the Connecticut Sun before their home opener against the Washington Mystics on May 23 at Michelob Ultra Arena.
Last season, the Aces, despite being back-to-back champions and title favorites, were dethroned by the Liberty, who then went on to win their first championship against the Minnesota Lynx.
The WNBA will expand to 13 teams in the upcoming season, including the Golden State Valkyries coached by former Aces assistant Natalie Nakase.
The season will consist of four additional games, making it a total of 44 games. The playoffs will continue to feature an eight-team format over three rounds.
The Aces will participate in the Commissioner’s Cup from June 1 to 17, playing six games in the tournament.
The All-Star Game will be hosted by Indiana on July 19, with the Aces having four players in last season’s game.
The final three home games of the upcoming season will be held at T-Mobile Arena, following a successful sellout last season.
The Aces made history by selling out season tickets before the previous regular season concluded.
Stay tuned for the release of national and local broadcast and streaming schedules at a later date.
