Latest Fortnite Leaks
Chapter 6 Collabs
Fortnite Chapter 6 has already had tons of its future collabs leaked. These are the big ones we think are coming soon:
Godzilla and King Kong
Hatsune Miku
Demon Slayer
The first two are confirmed already. We know these are coming in a matter of days! Although, Kong is a bit more of a mystery. He’s included in the copyright disclaimers for Godzilla, so it seems he’d be arriving too. Although, some have suggested that might be down to the design being a bit closer to the one from the film Godzilla versus Kong, we’ll have to wait and see if Kong is included.
Demon Slayer also looks like a clear pick or this season’s event collab pass. We’ll likely see this added in a future update to Fortnite this season.
Other Collab Leaks
Those are the ones we’re really firm on, but there’s a bit more. On top of these, there are a collection of others that have been suggested by some leakers. These aren’t anywhere near as confirmed, but they could still pop up in the future:
Pixar’s Cars
Avatar
One Punch Man
Hitman
The Riddler
Yakuza
Tekken
One Piece
Some of these should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, Pixar’s Cars seems like a safe bet in one form or another. Plus, DC skins returning would make sense for the Riddler.
Thin Client Coming Soon
One of the most recent Fortnite leaks is the Fortnite Thin Client. This is going to be a solution to a growing problem, the Fortnite file size which just gets bigger.
The point of the Thin Client is to allow players to download Fortnite without getting the entire platform. Fortnite is more than one game now, and the Thin Client means you can just download the bits you need. There’s been some problems with the growing file size and this should cut down on it. In the thin client, you’ll get the Item Store, lobby, and everything you need to run the game. However, specific game mode like Battle Royale or Rocket Racing will need to be downloaded specifically.
If you only care about one game mode, this will save you a lot of space. This change has shown up in Fortnite leaks, but it isn’t expected in-game until mid-way through the next year.
New UEFN Features
Most players know what is Fortnite Creative, but the tools that creators have access to are expanding. These include some new content that players can make use of through the new year, after a delay. These are the new features coming soon:
Scene Graph beta
UI Updates
HUD customization update
Fortnite Picture in Picture Mode in the Works from Epic
A recent update to the game has included some pretty interesting things on the back end from Epic. There’s the usual Fortnite leaks for skins and more. However, a picture in picture mode is apparently being worked on! This is going to be Fortnite for anyone who can’t focus on a single thing for more than 5 seconds.
The leaks point out that a mode letting you watch things like TikTok while you’re playing Fortnite. It’s going to be pretty distracting. However, for those more casual game modes and creative experiences, this might actually be pretty helpful. It seems Epic has been working out how to show ads too, to make sure you’re properly monetized while playing social media videos in the corner of a video game.
