One of LeBron’s sons is now in the NBA. Could there ever be a world where we see LeBron play with both his sons in the league? Tristan Thompson thinks so.
The Cavs reserve won a momentous 2016 championship with LeBron and has been so close with that family that he calls Bronny his nephew.
His younger brother, Bryce, is 17 years old and playing at Sierra Canyon High School.
Many scouts say he’s actually better than Bronny and is considered to be the more naturally gifted one at basketball.
Thompson thinks we could see all three James’ in the league together one day, which would be absolutely wild.
“Look at how ‘Bron is playing,” Thompson said told Cleveland.com. “He could probably play another four or five more years. He might as well keep playing so he can play with Bryce.
“He’s going to end up doing it. He is. That’s what’s going to happen. All three of them are going to be on the same team.
“It’s just a blessing for that whole family, man. I’m so happy for all of them. I hope my kids play in the NBA. I know I’m not going to play with my kids, but I hope my kids can feel something special like this one day. Pressure is on.”
Thompson also gave props to LeBron and Bronny for achieving something so incredible for the James family.
“It’s amazing. Bronny’s been around this game since he could sip a bottle,” Thompson said. “Being able to accomplish this with his pops, it’s a testament to so many different things, especially Bronny’s hard work.
“It’s a lot of pressure. It’s tough. It’s not easy being the son of the greatest player to ever play the game of basketball and then to make the NBA and play with your pops and then for ‘Bron to be this good for this long, it’s (expletive) crazy.
“… It doesn’t even seem real.”
