Belichick recalled Brady’s request for more time and fewer timeouts in critical situations to maximize options and trusted Brady to manage the game effectively.
Despite the pressure it placed on Brady, Belichick approved of the change in timeout strategy as the quarterback demonstrated proficiency in handling the responsibility.
Belichick adapted to Brady’s preference of taking the third timeout in the 30-second range, highlighting the quarterback’s comfort in managing the game that way.
