CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES, Mato Grosso, Brazil — On Friday, May 23, Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) held the official weigh-ins for LFA 209: De Lara vs. Henrique at the scenic Malai Manso Resort in Chapada dos Guimarães. The event is headlined by a highly anticipated featherweight clash between top prospects Inglesson De Lara (10-1) and Bruno “Xinoco” Henrique (18-4).
LFA 209, presented by Monster Energy, will air live on UFC FIGHT PASS® on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The broadcast will feature veteran MMA commentator Ron Kruck, joined by UFC standout Caio “The Natural” Borralho. Brazilian-Portuguese commentary will be delivered by popular Brazilian media figure Tiago Pamplona and UFC commentator Tarso Doria.
Originally scheduled to feature 14 bouts, the card was trimmed to 13 fights after Aline Minosso vs. Lorrany Santos was removed due to both fighters missing weight.
With a stacked lineup and a compelling featherweight headliner, LFA 209 promises an exciting night of action live from one of Brazil’s most breathtaking regions.
