London Mavericks partner with Flyhawk

London Mavericks have confirmed Flyhawk will become the club’s Official Community Ball Supplier. As part of this collaboration, Flyhawk is set to supercharge grassroots netball by supplying over 1,000 netballs to schools and clubs in need across our region, ensuring that the sport continues to grow and thrive across our communities.

Flyhawk are committed to breaking down barriers in netball. Founded by former Super League netballer Steph Essex, Flyhawk shares our vision of transforming lives through the power of sport, creating opportunities to inspire and empower women and girls at every level of the game.

Steph Essex launched Flyhawk with the mission of challenging the status quo and delivering innovative, female-focused products designed specifically for women. The Flyhawk netballs are designed with precision and innovation, with the brand putting the needs of female athletes at the forefront. With a commitment to quality, Flyhawk ensures that their netballs cater to the unique demands of the game, empowering players to perform at their best. These netballs are not just equipment; they represent a brand dedicated to elevating women’s sports, offering athletes top-tier products to support their journey on the court.

Steph Essex, Founder of Flyhawk, commented:

“Flyhawk is delighted to be the Official Community Ball Supplier to the London Mavericks. From our first discussions, it was clear we shared a bold ambition to disrupt netball, elevate women’s sport, and most importantly, support the grassroots communities that are the lifeblood of our sport. We’re excited about the big impact we can make together.”

Kieran Crombie, CEO of London Mavericks, added:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Flyhawk to the Mavericks family! From the start, we knew we shared a bold vision—to disrupt netball, advance women’s sport, and power the grassroots communities that are the backbone of our game. Together, we’re not just here to support the sport—we’re here to help it thrive.

After months of listening to our incredible clubs, coaches, teachers, and volunteers, we’re nearly ready to roll out our exciting new projects. To kick things off, we’ll be donating free equipment to schools and clubs that have the greatest need. We can’t wait to see netball grow and flourish in our communities!”

As part of this partnership, Flyhawk netballs will be available for purchase at our merchandise stand on game days. Don’t miss out on this season-defining collaboration—register your interest below to secure your tickets and be part of a landmark season for London Mavericks!
