OKTAGON MMA concluded a historic, record-breaking year on Sunday night (December 29) inside O2 Arena, Prague. Three new champions were crowned at OKTAGON 65, making it a thrilling show!
In the main event, Losene Keita (16-1) defeated Ronald Paradeiser (21-9) by TKO in the second round to become the ‘Triple Crown King’. Keita connected with two elbows during a takedown attempt, securing the win and solidifying his status as the lightweight champion and #1 P4P in the promotion. Keita is now the only two-time, double champion in the organisation!
Will Fleury (14-3, 1NC) claimed the light heavyweight title in the co-main event, beating Karlos Vémola (37-9) over twenty-five minutes. Fleury, the first Irish OKTAGON MMA champion, now has several options for his next moves, including defending his belt or participating in other weight classes.
Cecilie Bolander (4-1) defeated Lucie Pudilová (15-11) in their rematch to win the vacant bantamweight belt. Bolander emerged victorious in the final round, securing the win and the title for her country.
Igor Severino (9-1) defeated Jonas Mågård (17-7) by split decision and called for a shot at the vacant bantamweight title. Additionally, Agy Sardari (19-5) submitted Ognjen Dimić (8-3-1, 1NC) and expressed his desire to rematch Keita for the lightweight championship.
Other notable fights on the card included Daniel Schwindt (6-2) finishing Radovan Úškrt (8-6) by TKO and Jakub Batfalský (6-1) stopping Dominik Toporcer (4-3) at featherweight.
