The Lunar Owls BC will take on the Phantom BC in the second game of the Unrivaled doubleheader on Saturday. The Owls are one of the two remaining unbeaten teams left in the competition led by co-founder and Minnesota Lynx guard Napheesa Collier.

The Phantoms, on the other hand, have a 1-2 record. Their only triumph came in Friday’s 74-69 win over Mist BC. Dallas Wings’s Satou Sabally and Phoenix Mercury’s Brittney Griner combined for 58 points to earn the team’s first win of the competition.

Lunar Owls BC vs. Phantom BC preview, prediction and starting lineups

The Lunar Owls vs. Phantom matchup will tip off at 7 PM ET on Saturday at the Wayfair Arena in Miami, Florida. The game can be watched on TNT, TruTV and Max.

Lunar Owls BC vs. Phantom BC preview

The Lunar Owls, on a two-game winning streak, haven’t played since the Rose BC 79-70 win on Jan. 18. Napheesa Collier scored a game-high 31 points on 60.8 percent shooting from the field and 16.6 percent from the 3-point line. With much-needed rest, coach DJ Sackmann and his team will be eager to face the Phantoms.

The Owls are averaging 81.5 points per game and have held their opponents to 75 points per game.

Unlike their opponents, Phantom BC has played thrice and will not be as fresh as the Owls. However, they confidently come into the matchup after winning their last game. The absences of key players Marina Mabrey and Sabrina Ionescu will not make it any easier.

The Phantoms are averaging 63.6 points per game and have let in 79.6 points per game.

Lunar Owls BC vs. Phantom BC predicted staring lineups

The Lunar Owls are predicted to go with the same starting that has kept them unbeaten. Seattle Storm Skylar Diggins-Smith (Guard), Atlanta Dream Allisha Gray (Guard) and Minnesota Lynx Napheesa Collier (Forward) will lead the way for DJ Sackmann’s Owls.

The Phantom BC are also predicted to field the same starting three that brought them their first tournament win. With Sabrina Ionescu missing the game for personal reasons, the Phantoms will go with Phoenix Mercury Natasha Cloud (Guard), Dallas Wings Satou Sabally (Forward) and Indiana Fever Katie Lou Samuelson (Forward).

Lunar Owls BC vs. Phantom BC prediction

The undefeated Lunar Owls, bolstered by extra rest, are expected to extend their winning streak. They face the Phantom BC, who have struggled defensively and will be tested by the potent duo of Napheesa Collier and Skylar Diggins-Smith.

However, if the Phantom BC can replicate their earlier upset victory over Breanna Stewart and the Mist BC, they may be able to pull off another surprise win.
