ARLINGTON, Tx (WTVA) –Â Former Ole Miss women’s basketball standout Madison Scott has been waived by the Dallas Wings.
The Dallas Wings announced Sunday on social media that they have waived rookie Madison Scott along with another player.
Scott, a guard/forward, was selected 14th overall by the Wings in the 2024 WNBA Draft back in April.
She became the eighth Ole Miss women’s basketball player ever selected in the WNBA Draft, and the third to be picked during head coach Yolette McPhee-McCuin’s tenure.
The Wings say they will finalize the team’s 2025 opening day roster by May 15th.
