Magomed Ankalaev issues challenge to Jamahal Hill following UFC 307 comments
In a recent tweet, Ankalaev addressed Hill’s apparent frustration.
Why is Jamahal Hill crying? Pereira just made you sleep, get back in the line and work your way up or be ready for Abu Dhabi because Rakic may pull out

“Why is Jamahal Hill crying?” Ankalaev tweeted on Friday. “[Alex] Pereira just made you sleep, get back in the [line] and work your way up or be ready for Abu Dhabi because [Aleksandar] Rakic may pull out.”
At present, Hill has not responded to Ankalaev’s tweet.
Ankalaev is set to face Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 308 in October. In his most recent bout, he secured a victory over Johnny Walker after a draw with Jan Blachowicz at UFC 282 for the then-vacant title.
Since his UFC debut in 2018, Ankalaev has remained undefeated, with victories over fighters like Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos.
Hill claimed the then-vacant title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 last year. It is anticipated that he may return to action either by year’s end or early 2025 for his next Octagon appearance.
Depending on the outcome of Ankalaev’s upcoming fight, he and Hill could potentially cross paths. While they are currently on the outskirts of the UFC 307 scene, one of them appears to be handling the situation more calmly than the other.
