SYRACUSE, NY – Manu Prieto (Cascais, Portugal/Salesiano do Estoril) of the Buffalo State men’s soccer team and Olivia Kilmer (Hammondsport, NY/Avoca) of the Buffalo State women’s soccer team have each been named SUNYAC Offensive Athletes of the Week for their respective performances this past week.
Prieto had a dominant week for Buffalo State as he was a key contributor in three wins over Brockport, Houghton, and Hilbert. Across the three wins, Prieto tallied 13 points on five goals and three assists including a pair of goals in each win over Brockport and Hilbert. On the year, Prieto leads the team and the SUNYAC with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists.
Kilmer, a freshman speech pathology major, had a strong showing for the Bengals in their win over the Houghton Highlanders. Kilmer netted a pair of goals for the first multi-goal performance of her career. Kilmer also added an assist in the Bengals’ effort against St. Lawrence on Saturday. Kilmer has tallied three goals and an assist on the year.
