Jorge Martin emerged victorious in a thrilling battle with Miguel Oliveira and Francesco Bagnaia to claim victory in the sprint race at the German Grand Prix, extending his lead in the MotoGP standings.
The three riders exchanged positions multiple times at the start, with Martin eventually asserting his dominance to cross the finish line 0.676s ahead of Oliveira, with Bagnaia securing third place.
From pole position, Martin faced early pressure from Oliveira before Bagnaia made a bold move to take the lead. However, Martin quickly regained the lead by overtaking both riders and holding onto the position for the remainder of the race.
Although Oliveira managed to stay close to Martin, he couldn’t challenge for the lead, while Bagnaia dropped to third behind Oliveira. Enea Bastianini also joined the leading group on his Ducati.
Despite the gap closing in the final laps, Martin maintained his position at the front and crossed the finish line to take the victory, with Oliveira in second and Bagnaia in third.
Other notable finishes include Franco Morbidelli in fifth, Marc Marquez in sixth, and Maverick Vinales in seventh after starting from a lower grid position due to qualifying issues.
