Eddie Hearn Praises Tia Hayton
Hayton is an exceptional prospect. She enjoyed a highly successful amateur career, winning the 2024 Haringey Box Cup and being named the Best Female Youth Boxer of the entire tournament. She moves her feet well, as you would expect from a standout amateur. She shows impressive variation in her attacks, but most striking is her power, which should translate into the pro ranks. Eddie Hearn has even tipped her to be the next Katie Taylor.
Tia Hayton Aims High
In the Matchroom Boxing announcement, Hayton introduced herself: “I’m Tia Hayton, and I’m coming for it all. I’m fast, powerful, spiteful, and I’m exciting.
“I don’t want to be just any world champion. I want to be the undisputed world champion.
