The Dallas Mavericks are in need of additional big man depth with Dereck Lively II and Maxi Kleber sidelined with injuries. In light of that need, the Mavericks made move with their two-way players. Dallas waived guard Jazian Gortman from his two-way contract. The Mavs then signed center Kylor Kelley to a two-way deal.
Gortman had played 56 minutes in 16 appearances with the Mavericks this season.
In 23 G League games with the South Bay Lakers, Kelley had 20 starts. The 7-footer has averaged 11 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 27.6 minutes per game.
