Tempe, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) in partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) is happy to announce the 15 college tennis coaches from around the country who will make up the 2024-25 ITA USTA College Coach Mentorship class.
All of the following coaches have been chosen to pair up with veteran and former collegiate coaches this upcoming year:
Now entering the program’s fifth year, the ITA USTA College Coach Mentorship Program continues to offer numerous opportunities to young coaches to learn from some of the brightest minds our sport has to offer. After beginning with a class of 12 mentees in the inaugural year (2020), the program has since expanded to include at least 15 mentees every year, with this year’s class marking over 70 coaches who have benefited from this program.
Kicking off with a virtual orientation, each mentee will be expected to complete several virtual educational opportunities throughout the year featuring outside guests and experts who will present on topics most relevant to the mentees.
As part of the 2024-25 Mentorship Program, all 15 of the selected mentees will be able to attend the 2024 ITA Coaches Convention in Dallas, Texas for free. A $500 travel stipend will be provided as well to all mentees to attend the Coaches Convention.
