As the season approaches, the question asked last week was:
Which Miami Dolphins beat reporters or NFL reporters, local or national, do you respect and trust for accurate information or rumors? Who are your favorites and why?
Here are some of the responses to the question:
daytonadolfan no longer pays attention to reporters after retiring.
I focus on watching the games instead of paying attention to reporters. I may watch a press conference with the coach occasionally.
DConcep is not a fan of a controversial sports talk show host or the beat reporter from the Herald.
I personally don’t like Stephen A. Smith, but I acknowledge his knowledge of the sport. However, I think Omar Kelly is one of the worst at analyzing players.
Alpha6 mentions Darlington as a reliable reporter in the field.
Although trusting the media is questionable, Jeff Darlington is my top choice for team coverage.
Dolfan88 is also a fan of Darlington.
Jeff Darlington is great, but Omar and Joe Shad are the worst. They just say things for clicks!
TheRoo1 is critical of the current state of the media.
With the current state of news media, it’s hard to find reliable sources. It’s important to analyze stories and verify facts.
This thread had fewer comments, maybe because the topic didn’t interest many. Dolphins fans seem to enjoy criticizing the media coverage so much that they don’t want to comment on it! Thanks to those who shared their thoughts. Have a great holiday weekend. We’ll be back tomorrow with another discussion.
