UFC veteran Michael Chandler continues to make his push for a place on the White House card this summer.
When you think about action fighters in the UFC’s lightweight division, there are a couple of big names that come to mind. One man who tends to fly under the radar in that field, though, is none other than Michael Chandler, the man who made his switch over to the Ultimate Fighting Championship from Bellator a few years back.

Since then, Chandler has fought for a world title, he’s battled some of the best the division has to offer, and he’s picked up one of the most iconic knockouts in UFC history. Now, though, after a recent run of poor form, it doesn’t seem like the Conor McGregor fight he’s been pursuing is going to come to fruition.
Despite that, he still wants to try his best to appear on the upcoming UFC White House card.

“I got my eye on that one, because I think Max gets the win,” Chandler told MMA Junkie in an interview on behalf of Phorm Energy. “I think Oliveira is coming off a pretty devastating knockout and turned around real quick, jumped into another training camp. I got my eyes set on that BMF belt if Max wins, so we’ll see.”
“I saw him (Dan Hooker) do that after another fight,” Chandler said. “It’s almost like he makes these funny callouts, like maybe he’s serious, maybe he’s not, and he kind of makes fun of himself talking about being on the prelims and stuff. So, he’s a character, man. If you don’t like Dan Hooker, I don’t know if you like MMA.”
