Mist BC dominated from start to finish to cruise to an 88-62 win against Phantom BC on Friday. Behind the trio of Breanna Stewart, Rickea Jackson and Jewell Loyd, Mist built a 77-57 lead entering the fourth quarter. The win is the second straight for Phil Handy’s group against Phantom after losing the first meeting 74-69 in late January.

Stewart finished the game with 21 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals. Satou Sabally and Brittney Griner had trouble all night dealing with the two-time WNBA MVP all night. Loyd and Jackson combined for 38 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Phantom got a strong performance from Griner on offense. She tallied 24 points on 11-for-14 shooting, including 2-for-2 from deep. Sabrina Ionescu contributed 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Natasha Cloud had a rough night, delivering six points behind 1-for-10 shooting, including 0-for-6 from deep.

Mist BC vs Phantom BC Game Summary

Mist BC faced Phantom BC for the third time in the 2025 Unrivaled season on Friday. Breanna Stewart and Co. could take the lead in the season series with another victory. Stewie looked to get help from Jewell Loyd, Courtney Vandersloot and Rickea Jackson to carry the team.

After a seesaw battle in the opening minutes, Mist began to get separation from their opponents late in the first quarter. Behind a balanced attack, coach Phil Handy’s team finished the period with a 31-21 lead.

Phantom cut the lead early in the second quarter before Mist imposed its will again in the game. Stewart scored six points late in the period to push her team to a 51-42 advantage at halftime.

Mist outscored Phantom 26-15 in the third quarter to turn the game into a blowout. The trio of Stewart, Jackson and Loyd continued to cause problems for Phantom’s defense.

The beatdown came to a merciful end when Loyd drained a 3-pointer off a pass from Stewie. Mist cruised to an 88-62 win, their second straight this season versus Phantom.
