Moolah Kicks is expanding its commitment to the women’s basketball community by introducing a new summer collection and adding another WNBA brand ambassador, as reported by SBJ’s Na’Andre Emerson.
Launched in 2020, Moolah Kicks specializes in women’s basketball products, offering shoes designed to fit the female foot biomechanically and enhance on-court performance. The brand has grown to be available in over 570 stores nationwide through its partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods and has signed over 70 athletes to NIL deals, with more to come this fall.
Founder and CEO Natalie White credits the success of Moolah to the women’s basketball community and supportive partners who have helped bring the brand to where it is today.
This summer, Moolah released the Y2K Pack, inspired by the early 2000s, featuring vibrant colorways of their Triple Double, Neovolt Pro, and Press Break models. Athletes were involved in choosing their favorite colorways and naming the collection.
WNBA Phoenix Mercury player Sug Sutton has joined Moolah as a brand ambassador, joining Courtney Williams and Caroline Ducharme. Sutton will represent the brand through appearances and fan engagement, as well as on the court for the remainder of the 2024 season.
While the brand has gained interest from international markets, Moolah currently only ships within the U.S., with plans to expand internationally when it is financially viable. White emphasizes the importance of timing and market readiness in expanding globally.
White highlights the success of Moolah’s partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, noting the significance of having a physical retail presence where customers can interact with the product firsthand.
Natalie White says for the summer collection, Moolah polled hundreds of athletes to come up with their favorite colorways
