Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric trolley brand, is playing host to the season-defining penultimate Clutch Pro Tour event this week, being held at Harleyford Golf Club in Buckinghamshire (10-12 September).
The Motocaddy Masters comes at a pivotal time of the season, as it offers players the final chance to qualify for the lucrative Tour Championship taking place at Royal Norwich at the end of the month, with the top-60 players on the Order of Merit after the Motocaddy Masters making it through. In addition to a £50,000 prize fund next week, the winner will receive a cutting-edge M5 GPS trolley from the title sponsor, with an M1 trolley for the runner-up and a Motocaddy PRO 3000 laser rangefinder for third.
“The Motocaddy Masters is always a popular event and we’re delighted to continue supporting the next generation of professional golfers,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher.
“This year, it’s the final regular season event with everything up for grabs, so we’re excited to watch the drama unfold. We have several Motocaddy ambassadors in strong Order of Merit positions, and we’re confident their Motocaddy products will help them play their best,” he added.
Of the 10 #TeamMotocaddy Brand Ambassadors playing on the Clutch Pro Tour this season, John Gough (3rd), Olly Huggins (4th) & Calum Farr (6th) are all in with a great shot of earning a 2025 Challenge Tour card with the top-three players from the Order of Merit achieving qualification.
Motocaddy Brand Ambassadors are equipped with the latest M-Series electric trolleys, PRO 3000 laser rangefinder, and accessories to help support them on their professional journey.
Earlier this year, Motocaddy extended its partnership as the Official Golf Trolley Partner of the Clutch Pro Tour and its associated Amateur and Junior Tours.
As part of the partnership, Motocaddy has received branding and course signage, along with product placement at every event and has also been included in the comprehensive promotion of the events across the Clutch Pro Tour social media channels and digital marketing, in addition to the Tour’s first highlights show on Sky Sports Golf.
“It’s been another fabulous season and one that looks like going down to the wire in terms of the Tour Championship qualification,” said Clutch Pro Tour, Co-founder and Director Tom Hayward.
“The Motocaddy Masters is one of the highlights of the calendar, and all eyes will be on the event at the stunning Harleyford Golf Club this week,” he added.
Designed to give developing professional golfers the opportunity to compete at some of the UK’s top championship courses, the Clutch Pro Tour features 16, 54-hole tournaments. For the first time, players can also now gain valuable Official Golf World Ranking points.
This season, players have competed for a minimum £50,000 prize fund per event and along with the three full Challenge Tour cards, there are also 30 Challenge Tour invites available in 2025, with female participants offered the opportunity to qualify for Ladies European Tour events. A total prize fund of £1.8 million has been up from grabs across the professional tiered ranks this season.
