The rankings consider a fighter’s wins/losses, competition quality, finishing rate/dominance, and fight frequency.
Fighters become ineligible for ranking after 24 months of inactivity, due to injuries, suspensions, disputes, or self-imposed breaks.
Fighters under drug/conduct suspensions can still be ranked if they remain active within the 24-month period.
Fighters will be ranked in their primary weight class, with catchweight fights and fights outside the primary class affecting their ranking. Non-titleholders can only be ranked in one weight class at a time and may not be ranked in a new class until they have fought at that weight.
