Excitement is building for the upcoming 2024 WNBA Skills Challenge and STARRY 3-Point Contest set to take place at Phoenix’s Footprint Center on Friday, one day before the All-Star Game.
During the event, fans will witness the incredible skills of center Brittney Griner and the top three-point shooters of the 2024 season compete for glory.
In a unique addition to the evening, the WNBA All-Star 3×3 Exhibition will feature the 3×3 National Team facing off against the 3×3 U23 National Team from USA Basketball.
Aflac has sweetened the pot by offering a $55,000 bonus to each winner of the Skills Competition and 3-Point Contest, adding to the excitement of the evening.
Skills Challenge highlights league’s best
The Skills Challenge will showcase the talents of five players as they navigate a complex obstacle course that tests their various basketball skills. The debut of the 3×3 Exhibition will feature talented players like Rhyne Howard, Cierra Burdick, Hailey Van Lith, and Dearica Hamby facing off against the U-23 National Team. The competition promises to be intense as these players showcase their skills in the fast-paced 3×3 format.
