Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is a well-known fan of pop star Taylor Swift. Clark recently appeared on the New Heights podcast co-hosted by Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce. She shared about her love for Taylor Swift and how her mother also became a fan.
On the podcast, Clark discussed attending the Eras Tour live in Indianapolis at the beginning of December. She mentioned how her mother, Anne, became a “full Swiftie” after the experience of seeing Taylor Swift perform live.
“The show was electric and my mom was really excited to go. It was a great experience, and now she’s a full Swiftie. My two cousins were also there, so we had a great time.”
Caitlin Clark went to the first two shows in Indianapolis on December 1 and 2. She revealed that she lives near the Lucas Oil Stadium and even tried to listen to the third night’s concert from her balcony. She initially attended the first night alone before bringing her mother and cousins on the second night.
Clark also shared about attending a Minneapolis show of the Eras Tour with her Hawkeyes teammates while she was still in Iowa.
“I went to one of Taylor’s early concerts in Minnesota, U.S. Bank Stadium. It was a lot of fun, and I went with my college friends.”
Caitlin Clark has been a dedicated Swiftie since childhood. She even has an open invitation to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game with Taylor Swift, as she is a huge Chiefs fan and Swift supports her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the team.
What is Caitlin Clark’s favorite Taylor Swift song?
Previously, on ESPN’s pre-draft show, Caitlin Clark mentioned that “Enchanted” was her all-time favorite Taylor Swift song, despite its somber lyrics. She expressed her excitement about playing it to celebrate her selection in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
“Enchanted is like my favorite song of all time. It’s kinda sad, but I’m still playing it anyway. We’re going to make it fun. That’s all that matters.”
In her first year in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever back to the playoffs after a seven-year hiatus. She was named Rookie of the Year and even finished fourth in MVP voting.
